Saturday 21st September 2019

Mintlaw’s Aden Park Theatre plays host to our open concert. Kicking off at 1:30 this is always a popular concert with our local Folk Club regulars joined by an array of guests.

Hosted as ever by our very own Bill Buchan.

Grand Concert - 7:30pm

Stuartfield Village Hall

The Claire Hastings Band

Since releasing the critically acclaimed CD Between River and Railway, Clair Hastings has gone on to thrill audiences across the UK, Europe and New Zealand. She has played gigs as diverse as BBC Proms in the Park to Celtic Connections - and now, the Ugie Folk Festival!

Clair will be joined in her band by the excellent Orcadian Guitarist and singer Aidan Moodie as well as one of Scotland’s most vibrant fiddle players, Mhairi Mackinnon.

Ron Gardner

Ron is no stranger to the Scottish Folk Club and festival Scene, with his great singing and guitar playing and his dry, sharp humour, he is been a favourite for many years.

The Ugie Wall of Sound

Formed from members of the Folk Club the UWoS defy categorisation - unless the category is a "disparate bunch of folkies who come together for the sheer joy of playing”. Come and see them and be amazed and appalled in equal measure.

Entrance all our events are free but booking is advised for the Grand Concert. Call John or Helena on 01651 851 317 or 07528 116 395
