The Grand Concert this year is opened by Festival Regulars: The Ugie Wall of Sound playing a mix of traditional and contemporary songs and tunes.

Next up is the renowned accordion performer and educator, John Bone. John is one of Scotland’s best accordionists and has both inspired and tutored many of our best accordion players.

Our main guest for the night is the excellent singer Robyn Stapleton. Having won the Scottish Young Traditional Musician of the year award in 2014, Robyn has gone from strength to strength with appearances at the Proms in the Park, regular radio performances and the release of her latest album. Her warm stage presence and beautiful interpretation of traditional songs of Scotland, England and Ireland have won her much praise and respect. Robyn will be accompanied by the amazing young pianist, Ryan Mackenzie.

As with all Folk Festival events, the Grand Concert is free, however numbers are limited and it is advisable to book your seat by calling 01651 851317.

There is no bar but you are welcome to bring your own drinks.
